These territories were discovered by two former Wind Clan cats, Hawkfire and Eaglestorm. After being wrongly banished due to a misinterpreted message their leader received from Star Clan, they traveled all the way to the sun-drown place. There they learned from rogues and kittypets that the sun-drown place was called the ocean, and named the Clan they built after it.

Hawkfire and Eaglestorm have been gone for many, many seasons, but Ocean Clan still thrives. Their camp is in the same cliffside caves, and they share with Star Clan in the same place as their ancestors. For the most part, Ocean Clan has a peaceful life, with no other Clans to compete for territory and large forests to the north and south providing ample prey for rogues.
